While Stacey’s is a great bookstore. The homeless sleeping on the third floor always gave me the creeps.
Stacey’s used to be much smaller and it used to focus on technical books in medicine, finance and science.
Around 1990 it was remodeled and changed into something like Border’s - but with a better selection of books.
